JESSIE COBB DELHI - Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Cobb, 74, of Delhi will be at 2 p.m. today in the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel here with Revs. Jerry Polk and W. A. Dearmon officiating. Burial will be in West Carroll Memorial Cemetery at Forrest. Mrs. Cobb died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the E. A. Conway Hospital at Monroe after a short illness. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lela Nielsen of Winnsboro, Mrs. Dorothy Lee Neathery and Mrs. Lona Dear, both of Delhi; two sons, Woodrow Cobb and Jarrell Cobb, both of Delhi; three brothers, Lee Trahern, Will Trahern and Rufus Trahern, all of Wisner; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. ***Submitter’s notes: Jessie Trahern was born 18 Jan 1901 to Wallace William Trahern and Lonie (Stephens) Trahern in Franklin Parish, LA. She married in Franklin Parish, 18 June 1915 to James Monroe Cobb. They were divorced. She never re-married.
