Funeral services for Jospeh J. Bank, 82, of Mangham will 
be at New Light Baptist Church to Mangham 3 p.m. today 
with the Revs. Roger Johnson and Doyle Adams officiating. 
Burial will be in the Lone Cherry Cemetery under the 
direction of Hixon Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.
He died early Saturday at Columbia Heights Hospital after 
a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Mae Barnett 
Banks of Mangham; two daughters, Mrs. Annie Orr and Mrs. 
Evelyn Mercer, both of Mangham; one brother, Charlie Banks 
of Mangham; one sister, Mary Barnett of Mangham; eight 
grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great 
grandchild.  The body will be at the residence, Rt. 1 Box 1
60, Mangham. Pallbearers will be Bennie Williams, Joel 
Williams, Gary Williams, Dennis Orr, Jr. Claude Mercer 
and Billy Mercer.
