 Jewel Lee Greer

Funeral services for Jewel Lee Greer, 85, of Rayville,
were held March 6, 2002 , at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, with 
Rev. Jeff Smart officiating.

Mrs. Greer died March 5, 2002.

She was a member of Zebedee Baptist Church, and a former
employee of the Ball and Ellington Clinic and the Colonial
Manor Nursing Home in Rayville before her reitrement
due to illness.

Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her husbands, Prentiss 
Martin Border Sr., and George H. Greer; her parents Alphia 
and James Yates; three brothers; four sisters; and two 
grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Harris of Rayville;
five sons Charles Borden of Rayville, Claude L. Border of
Rayville, Prentiss Martin Borden Jr. of Bastrop; Robert Eugene
Borden Sciotoville, Ohia and Randy Borden of Bald Knob, Arkansas; 
three sisters; one brother;12 grandchildren; 19 great 
grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Serving as pallbearers were Chuck Borden, Tommy Bordem, Kenneth
borden, Robert Carroll, Lynn Spencer, Marvin Ray Borden and
Jonathan Williamson.
