Hicks, 56, of Rayville, were held Friday, June 25, 2004, at the Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville with Bishop Larry Jammes and the Rev. Harold Spillers officiating. Burial followed in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home. Mr. Hicks was born on September 10, 1947 and passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2004. Mr. Hicks was a member of the Archibald Church of God. He was employed as a truck driver with the Richland Parish Police Jury. Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by his father , Marvin W. Hicks; sister, Janice Lynn Hicks; uncles, James H. Boone and Charles B. Boone. Mr. Hicks was survived by his mother, Yvonne Hicks of Rayville; sister Joy Crawford and husband Billy Michael of Rayville; very special nieces and nephews, Eddie Wayne Franks and wife, April, and their children, Bailey and Jed Franks, Christopher Franks and wife, Holly, and their children, Andrew and Mason Franks, Brittany McClain, Renee Adcock and family, Shawn Crawford and family. Pallbearers were Mike Boone, Byron Denham, Claude Hicks, Lance Griffin, Paul Frith, and Eddie Booker. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Eppinette and Billy Michael Crawford.
