Mrs. Johnnie Mae Albritton


Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie Mae Albritton, age 83, of West Monroe, 
LA, formally of Holly Ridge, LA will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 
2006 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville, LA. Officiating will be 
Rev. David Herrington. Interment will follow in McKnight Cemetery in Holly 
Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville, LA. 
Johnnie Mae Albritton was born on May 2, 1922 in Oak Grove, LA and passed 
away on, Monday, January 16, 2006 in West Monroe, LA. 

Mrs. Albritton was a member of Shady Grove Church of God. Her husband, O.C. 
"Sambo" Albritton, preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her sons, Mickey Albritton and wife, Mary of West Monroe, 
LA, Rodney Albritton of Monroe, LA and Phil Albritton and wife, Betty Jo of 
West Monroe, LA; daughter, Melba Dee Currence of Wichita Falls, TX; twelve 
grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, John Albritton, Jeff Albritton, Jason 
Albritton, Neal Albritton, Jared Adams and Brandon McCall. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Ross Albritton and Justin Adams. 

Visitaion will be from 12:00 PM until time of service on Tuesday at the 
funeral home.
