John R.. “J.R.” Barrow

Funeral services for John R. “JR.” Barrow, 72, of Delhi, LA., were held at
2 p.m. on Saturday October 27, 2001 at Cox, Funeral Chapel in Delhi,
with Revs. Willie Ray Nielsen  and Curt Goddard officiating. Burial
followed at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery in Delhi under the direction of
Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.

Mr. Barrow died October 24, 2001, at the Richland Parish Hospital in
Delhi.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby Barrow and Ola
Mae Langley Barrow; daughter, Connie Maxine Peairou; and a brother, Mack
Barrow.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Jones Barrow of Delhi; his son,
Johnny Dwain Barrow of Snyder, TX; his daughter , Beck Nielsen of
Delhi, La.; his brother, Josiah Barrow of Summerville, Texas; and
four sisters-Audie Vineyard of Rayville, La., Cricket Johnson of Natchez, 
MS.,Glenda Bostick of Searcy, AR. and Ona Kennedy of Porter, TX.; eight 
grandchildren;and six great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Jason Nielsen, Brandon Nielsen, Nick Nielsen,
Guthrie Nielsen, Justin Stribling and Brooks Mooney,
