Dr. R. Wayne Briant, Dr. Marcus Murphy and Rev. Jimmy Goodman will officiate. Committal services will be held at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Monroe under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00PM Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi. Mr. Shelton was born on August 25, 1930 in Hobart, Oklahoma and went peacefully to meet his Jesus Monday night at his residence in Delhi surrounded by family and close loved ones. He was a native of Hobart, Oklahoma and a resident of Delhi since 1977 where he owned and operated the Delhi Livestock Auction with his family until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Haskell Shelton and a brother, Pat Shelton. He is survived by his loving wife, Delena Weaver Shelton of Delhi; two sons, Mack Shelton and wife Debby of Delhi and Ken Shelton and wife Sharon of Brandon, MS; his mother, Ona Beatrice McClure Shelton of Hobart, OK; two sisters, Sandra Bardsher of Lawton, OK and Karen Denton of Hobart, OK; six grandchildren, Zack and Caroline Shelton, Jason and Erin Shelton, Massey and Jennifer Shelton & Sonny and Brooke Shelton, Stacy and Will Johnson & Angela and Justin Estel and by nine great grandchildren, Brennan, Macie, Blaire, Addison, Braxton and Jackson Shelton, Ainslee, and Olivia Johnson and Landon Estel. Pallbearers will be Will Johnson, Justin Estel, Zack Shelton, Jason Shelton, Massey Shelton, Sonny Shelton and Gary Hinton. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Beach, D. D. Smith, Mickey Kelly, James King, Charles Taylor, Henry Rice, Clayton Pilgreen, Bucky Adams, Thomas Glover and Paul Wells.
