Interment will be in Delhi Masonic Cemetery, Delhi, LA. Mr. Traxler was born October 25, 1929 in Daisetta, TX and passed away August 1, 2004 in Delhi, LA. He was preceded in death by: wife, Amy Lou Traxler; father, Percy Lee Traxler; and mother, Rena Doris Traxler. Mr. Pete was a retired dispatcher with Century ReadyMix of Monroe. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Post World War II Occupation of Germany. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi. He is survived by two sons: Dr. Jon Traxler, Baton Rouge, LA, and Mark Traxler, Delhi, LA; sisters in law: Reba Traxler, Nederland TX, and Sue Smith Gulley, Lake Charles, LA; aunt: Bessie Mae Crapps, Forkville, MS. Pallbearers will be Bud LaPrarie, Jim Free, Bruce Tatum, Don Cheek, Dwight Clarke, and Lester Harrell. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
