Jyles T. Hardy

Graveside services for Jyles Thomas Hardy, 79 of Rayville, 
were held February 1, 2003 at Stevenson Cemetery near
Rayville with the Rev. Charles Wesley officiating.

Burial followed under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral
Home of Rayville.

Mr. Hardy passed away January 31.

He was a member of West New Home Baptist Church. He was a veteran
Of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife of more than 51 years, Martiel Clack
Hardy; his daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Carol and Rodney Duck,
Of Forest Hill, LA, Camille and Mark Linder of Rayville, and 
Debbie Benavides of Rayville, his son Randy Hardy of Pollock, LA; 
a sister and brother-in-law Claudine and Johnny Hebert of Bastrop, LA; 
and seven grandchildren, Kevin Thomas Hardy, Jason Eugene Duck,
Eric Randal Hardy, Michelle Helena Benavides, Daniel Nathan Linder,
Laura Kay Benavides, and Lee Ann Duck.

Pallbearers were Duke Jones, Tommy Nicholson, Eric Silk, David
Freeland and Nolan Cheek.
