Humble Civic Worker and Philanthropist Succumbs at Mangham   Mrs. Kate A. Humble, 69, prominent Mangham resident and well known throughout this section of the state, died here Monday morning at the home of a niece, Mrs. Massey McConnell. She had been seriously ill since Friday. Mrs. Humble, who was affectionately known as "Aunt Kate", was the wife of the late W. D. Humble who died last February. She was born here in 1875, a daughter of the late Roger S. and Elizabeth Jamar Boughton. Active in civic and church affairs and interested in the welfare of Mangham's children, Mrs. Humble who had also been a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club at Monroe, contributed much to the benefit of schools and churches throughout Richland Parish. She was a member of the building committee which had charge of the erection of the Mangham First Methodist Church, and she also vigorously supported tax measures that resulted in the construction of Mangham's school system. Her closest surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. May Sayre, Rayville. other relatives include two brothers-in-law, S. R.Humble and G. W. Humble, of Mangham; and two sisters-in-lay, Mrs. Charles King, Mangham and Mrs. O. Wahls, Winnsboro.   Funeral arrangements, relative to the hour for services, had not be completed Monday night, but last rites will be conducted at the Mangham First Methodist Church with the Rev. J. P. McKeithen, Mangham Methodist minister and the Rev. C. W. Jones, Mangham Baptist minister, officiating. Interment will be made in the Mangham Cemetery under the direction of the First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Services are expected to be held some time Wednesday. Pallbearers, nephews of Mrs. Humble, will be W.E. Hixon, R. B. Boughton, W. O. Boughton, L. G. Bledsoe, F.E. Lyles, and Jake King
