Dr. Joe Hamilton officiating. Mr. McIntyre was born August 13, 1932, in the Central Community. He died Sunday, October 22, 2006, following an extended illness. Mr. McIntyre was predeceased by his father and mother, L.M. and Minnie Lee Kersh McIntyre, one brother, Monroe Charles McIntyre, and one sister, Audrey McIntyre Honeycutt. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Ofelia McIntyre; one son, Kersh McIntyre, Jr., and wife Robbin of Opelika, AL, four daughters Ruth Teixiera and husband Airton of Brazil, S.A., Marina Duque and husband Fernanda of Quinto, Ecuador, S.A., Gladys Parra and husband Santiago of Guayaquil, Ecuador, S.A., Norma Cole and husband Dana of Raleigh, NC; three brothers, Roy W. McIntyre and wife Virginia of Delhi, LA, E. Rudolph McIntyre and wife Nell of Winnsboro, LA, L. Marion McIntyre and wife Mary Alice of Delhi, LA; thirteen grandchildren, Taylor, Tori, Jose Luis, Liza, Margarita, Santiago, Xavier, Vanessa, Maria Fernanda, Maria Gabriella, Andres, James, and Jonathan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
