Larry Emory, Rev. Jason Murphy and Rev. Keith Evans officiating. Interment followed in Antioch Cemetery, Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville. Kenneth Allen was born on October 27, 1935 in Kilbourne and passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2006 in Rayville. Mr. Allen was a U. S. Army veteran and an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors. The “Apple of his eye” was his grandchildren, who he loved very much. Mr. Allen retired from Planters Feed & Seed after twenty-six years. He loved to joke and kid with his friends, he will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Ware Allen and his sister, Johnnie Mae Carter. Survivors include his wife, Clarice Russell Allen of Rayville; children, Judy Emory and husband, Larry of Choudrant; Kimberly Dupont and husband, Stephen of Rayville; Scott Allen and wife, Lynne of Archibald; Paula Allen of Tecumseh, OK.; eight grandchildren, Allen Dupont, Brandon Dupont and Cara Dupont all of Rayville, Chris Tubeville, Candice Watts and Dustin Allen all of Rayville, Brandi Pawnee and Christina Pontius of Tecumseh, OK; one great grandchild, Madison Watts of Conway, AR; mother, Lola Allen of Mangham; siblings; Jack Allen and wife, Carolyn of Choudrant; Charles Allen and wife, Sandra of Castor, LA; Melba Sebren and husband, Don of Mangham; Gary Allen and wife Linda of Liddleville, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and a community of friends. Pallbearers were Joe Comeaux, Allen Dupont, Brandon Dupont, Chris Tuberville, Pete Mulhearn, Jr. and Todd Morris. Honorary pallbearers were Dudley Henson and Dustin Allen.
