Mrs. Kate E. Thompson


Funeral services for Mrs. Kate E. Thompson of Pembroke, KY, 
formerly of Monroe,(&Holly Ridge) LA, will be 10:00 AM, Friday, 
March 11, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, Monroe, LA.
Officiating will be a grandson,Pastor Ken Hendrix and Rev. 
Doug Allen. Interment will follow at Monroe Memorial Park, 
Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 
Monroe, LA. 

Mrs. Thompson was born on October 7, 1912 in Newton, MS, and 
passed away on March 7, 2005 in Pembroke, KY. She was a member 
of College Place Baptist Church of Monroe, LA and a retired 
food service employee at N.L.U. 

She was preceded in death by her husband C. D. Thompson, Sr. 
and a great grandchild, Elizabeth Thompson. 

Mrs. Thompson is survived by four children: Charles D. Thompson 
and wife Bonnie, Juanita Hendrix and husband John, Thomas E. 
Thompson and wife Barbara, Ron Thompson and wife Susan; two 
brothers: Otto Parker and Roger Parker; two sisters: Audy Anderson 
and Ruth Guraedy; eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren 
and five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday March 10, 2005 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA. 

(Personal note by submitter: Mrs.Thompson was a resident of Richland 
Parish for a number of years and her children were educated in the 
Richland Parish School System, at Rayville and Holly Ridge.)
