All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Lela Ardella Fuller Funeral services for Lela Ardella Fuller, 89, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2001, at the Crew Lake United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Margaret Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Start Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Homes of Rayville. Mrs. Fuller died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at the Richardson Medical Center in Rayville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Fuller; two grandsons- Mark D. Jones and Michael Dowdey; and two sons-in-law, Bullie Crawford and Jim Jones. Mrs.Fuller was born January 9, 1912 in Wilhite, LA. in Union Parish. She and her family moved to Richland Parish at Crew Lake in 1937. She was an active member of the Crew Lake United Methodist Church since that time, and a member and past Worthy Matron of the Bethal Chapter #185 in Rayville. She was Cafeteria Manager at Start High School for 20 years, having retired from there in 1973. Survivors included her sons, Jimmy Lee Fuller and his wife, Dot, of Start, LA and Tommy Fuller and his wife , Vicki, of Monroe, LA; three daughters, Margie Crawford of Monroe, LA, Mary Joyce Whitten and her husband, Billy , and Doris Jones, all of Start, La; eight grandchildren,16 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; and a sister, Velma Wilhite of Wilhite, LA.
