All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Lois Bolton Cox Funeral services for Lois Bolton Cox, 88, of Rayville, LA.,were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday August 15, 2000, at the First Bpatist Church in Rayville with Dr. Ernest Winburn officiating. Burial followed in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Mrs. Cox died Sunday, August 13, 2000 in Rayville. She was born August 30, 1911 in Leesville, LA. Mrs. Cox was a faithful member of the Rayville First Baptist church, where she sang in the choir for 50 years and was a member of the Marie Hooks Sunday School class and the Mission Action Circle of Baptist Women. She was also a member of the Rayville Garden Club. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband,Arville Cox; a brother, Raymond F. Bolton; and a sister, Marie Bolton Hooks. Survivors include her one surviving son, Dr. Ray A. Cox of Shreveport, LA, four grandchildren, Joe David Cox and wife Shannon of Shreveport,Paul E. Cox and his wife, Natalie, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Karen and Mary Cox, both of Shreveport, LA.;a brother and sister-in-law, George W. Bolton, Jr. and Sarah B. Bolton of Rayville; a special friend Susan Strother; and several nieces,nephews and friends. Serving as pallbearers were John David Cox, Paul E. Cox, John Hoychick Jr., George W. Bolton III, Dr. Dan T. Hooks and Jeff C. Bolton.
