LEAUNA MCDONALD DYER Services for Mrs. Leauna McDonald Dyer, 79, of Rayville, LA, will be held 10 AM Friday, January 10, 2003, at Bethel Baptist Church, north of Holly Ridge with Rev. Keith Evans officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville. Mrs. Dyer died on January 8, 2003 at Richardson Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and a very active grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Dyer was preceded in death by her brothers, Lavon Poda, Marvin N. Poda, Jack Poda, and Grady Poda. Survivors include her husband, Leon H. Dyer of Rayville, La; two sons, Rep. Charles Richard McDonald and his wife Patsy of Fairbanks, LA; and Donnie M. McDonald and his wife Judy of Monroe, LA; two grandsons, R. Scott McDonald and his wife Leazel of Monroe, LA; and Donovan McDonald and his wife Tracy of Calhoun, LA; great grandchildren, Tucker, McKenzie, and Gentry McDonald; step children, Allan Dyer and wife Linda of Franklin, TN; Ross Dyer and his wife Ann of Longview, TX;step grandchildren, Shannon and Kristi Dyer of Franklin, TN and Ross Dyer, Jr. of Longview, TX; four sisters, Malory King of West Columbia, TX; Ethelle Swanner and husband Tyson of West Monroe; Nettie Mae Traina and husband Tony of Jonesboro, LA; and Derlene Wingert and husband Johnny of Ruston, LA; and two sisters-in-law, Wanda Loe and husband Lavelle of Quitman, LA; and Ethel Imaldedon of Longview, TX. Pallbearers will be Keary Freeman, Bobby G. Swanner, Michael Swanner, Randal McDonald, Billy Wiggins, Alan Dyer and Kim Hudson. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
