Mrs. Lilly May Sayre 

The funeral of Mrs. Lilly May Sayre, 74, 
was held in the Methodist Church in Mangham 
Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.. Rev L. Jones officiated. 
Interment was in the Gwin cemetery, directed by 
the Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. 
Active pallbearers were; Joseph Davenport, Jr.; 
Massey D McConnell; Felix Boughton; R. B. Boughton; 
Oliver Boughton and Elwyn Lyles. Honorary pallbearers 
were all friends of the family. 
Mrs. Sayre, mother of Dr. T. M. Sayre of Rayville, 
made her home with her son and his family. She leaves 
her son and a daughter Mrs. Foster Rowan, Baton Rouge; 
nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
