All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Ladell McKinney Funeral services for Mrs. Ladell McKinney, 75, of Delhi will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 28, 2204 at the First Baptist Church in Delhi. Dr. Marcus Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mrs. McKinney died Saturday at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe from a sudden illness. She was born in GoForth, Texas, on Dec. 17, 1928 and departed this life Sep. 25, 2004. She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgel Inglet and Nelle Bell Teeler Inglet; two brothers, William and Clemens Inglet and a son, Audrey Byron McKinney. She is survived by her husband, Audrey A. "Buddy" McKinney of Delhi, a son, Gregg McKinney and his wife Julie of Delhi, a daughter, Merrie Kay Beach and her husband, Johnny of Delhi, a daughter-in-law, Wanice McKinney of Delhi, by nine granchildren, a brother, Clifford Inglet of Prairie Lea, Texas and two sisters, Pearl Morris of Arlington, Texas and Helen Inglet of San Marcos, Texas. Pallbearers will be Members of the Delhi Police Department. Honorary pallbearers will be John Levels, Calvin McDowell, Charles Misita, Ed Rhodes, Otha Nielsen, Dr. George Edwards and all of her nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi.
