Clyde Piercy officiating. Burial followed in Faith Memorial Park Cemetery in Delhi, under the direction of Cox Funeral Chapel. Mr. Martin was a retired electrician. He was a member of Robinson Baptist Church and was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Military rites were conducted at the gravesite. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Junior Martin and Tidy McCoullah Martin; brother, Louis "Buck" Martin; and two sisters, Susie Belle Martin and Ruth Milby. Survivors include his wife, Mary Christine Martin; son and daughter-in-law, Danny Lynn and Kathy Martin; daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Lester Laventon; grandson, Jason Martin; five granddaughters, Kristy Martin, Courtney Martin, Lorin Laventon, Ra'gan Laventon and Shannon Laventon; great- grandchild, Cain Jenkins; brother, T. J. Martin; sister Mattie Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were W. H. Sanders, Mike Martin, Keith Antley, Jerry Foote, W. B. Sumner and Timmy Hutchinson. Honorary pallbearer was Jason Martin.
