Joe Senn officiating. Under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA. Mrs. Lane was a long time member of Rayville First Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother as well as a book keeper for the family livestock auction business . She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank McDonald and Stella Goins McDonald and a sister Marjorie McDonald Gregory. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Alvin S. Lane, Jr.; daughters, Patricia "Pat" Lane Green and Gay Nell Lane Middleton and her husband Ronald Middleton; son, Bubba Lane and his wife Ann, sisters Nell McDonald McLemore and Bonnie McDonald Wynn; grandchildren, Becky Etzel and her husband Todd, Beth Newsom and her husband Rodney, Paula Krishna and her husband Kris, Frank Lane, Lee Lane and his wife Heather, Dan Middleton and his wife Tam, Catherine Middleton, Josh Middleton and his wife Amy; great grandchildren, Ethan, Annie and Blake Etzel, Seth Berry, Avery Newsom, Kaiden and Sarah Krishna, Caitlin Middleton, Lee Lane, II, McKenzie Colvin; and a loving care giver Lillie Nobles. Numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Frank Lane, Lee Lane, Dan Middleton, Josh Middleton, Todd Etzel, Rodney Newsom and Kris Krishna. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harry McKay and Ken McKay. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday at the funeral home, and 1:00PM until service time at the church Monday.
