Mavis Meeks Fortenberry

Services for Mrs. Mavis Meeks Fortenberry, 88, of Winnsboro, LA formerly of Rayville, LA 
will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA with 
Rev. Paul Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Ogden Cemetery, under the 
Direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA. 

Mrs. Fortenberry was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church, Liddieville, LA She 
was retired from Mulhearn Protective Insurance Co. and Mulhearn Flower shop where 
she worked for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Larkin Fortenberry. 
She is survived by two daughters, Sue Easterling and her husband, Don of 
Winnsboro, LA and Grace Holloway also of Winnsboro, LA; five grandchildren and 
five great grandchildren, Donnie Easterling, Buddy Strikland, Scott Wilcher, 

Tim Holloway, Jeff LaCaze and Ashley Peters will serve as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday March 31, 2006 at the funeral home.
