Mrs. Mary Barnette    Monroe News Star August 7, 1979
 
Services for Mrs. Mary E. Barnette, 84, will be at 2 p.m. 
today at Lone Cherry Baptist Church in Mangham with the 
Rev. Doyle Adams officiating. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in 
Winnsboro. Mrs. Barnette died Wednesday in Richland Parish 
Hospital in Rayville after a short illness.  Mrs. Barnette 
was a native and life-long resident of Richland Parish land 
a member of Lone Cherry Baptist Church.  Survivors include 
her husband, Lee Roy Barnette of Mangham; two daughters, 
Mrs. Allie Mae Rutherford of Monroe and Mrs. Allen L. Jones 
of Mangham; a brother, Charlie Banks of Mangham; two 
grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
