Bond Services for Martha Bennett Bond, 87, of Rayville, were held December 23, 2003 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville with Dr. Ernest Winburn officiating. Burial followed in Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley funeral Home of Rayville. Mrs. Bond was a member of Rayville First Baptist Church and the Saints Alive. She was also a very active member of the Pink Ladies at Richardson Medical Center, Rayville Garden Club, Eastern Star of Rayville, and the Art and Civic Club of Rayville. Mrs. Bond was born on January 7, 1916 and passed away December 20, 2003 at her residence after a short illness. Mrs. Bond was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Lester Bond and her eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Johnny C. Bond and wife JoAnn of Rayville,and Betty Bond Livingston and husband Max, of Rayville; grandchildren, Johnny Max Livingston, and wife Belinda, and their chidlren Morgan and Jon Michael Livingston; Trent Howard Livingston, James C. Bond and wife Debbie and their children Callie Bond. Hailyy Hill, Codi Hill,and Taylor Hill,David Keith Bond and his wife, Shelly, and their children Carson Bennett Bond and Coleman Avit Bond, Melanie Bond and friend R.C. McBroom; brother C.Y. Bennett Jr. of Rayville; sister Evelyn Clay of Jackson, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews. PAllbearers were grandsons, Johnny Max Livingston, Trent Howard Livingston, James C. Bond, David Keith Bond , R.C. McBroom and Tommy Smith
