 Mrs. Mamie Banks  Monroe Morning World Oct. 4 1967
 
Mrs. Mamie C. Banks, age 85, of Route 1 Mangham, died 
Tuesday in Kings Sanitarium in Winnsboro after a brief 
illness. Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. 
at the New Light Baptist Church near Mangham with the 
Rev. James Miller officiating. Burial will be in the 
Lone Cherry Cemetery near Mangham under the direction 
of the First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Survivors 
include two daughters, Miss Pearl Banks, Mangham and Mrs. 
Homer Prewitt of Mangham; one son, Leslie Banks, Mangham; 
one sister, Mrs. Alma Mercer, Mangham; three brothers, 
Henry Harris, Thomas Harris and Dan Harris all of Winnsboro; 
one granddaughter.
