 Miss Maude Gandy - Richland Beacon 2 Feb. 1963
 
Miss Maude M. Gandy, 62, of New Light community near 
Mangham died in a Monroe hospital Wednesday morning 
after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 
10 a.m. Thursday in New Light Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Dewey Myles officiating assisted by the Rev. Fred 
Gilbert. Burial was in Lone Cherry Cemetery near Mangham,
 under the direction of First National Funeral Home of 
Winnsboro.
Survivors include two brothers, Preston and Royce Gandy, 
both of Mangham, and a sister, Mrs. Kenneth George, of 
Mangham. Pallbears were Duncan McIntyre; Ed Jones, Bo Buie, 
Leo Cheek, Homer Prewitt and Wilbur Thames.
