Millard Houston Knight

Services for Millard Houston Knight, 86,of Rayville,
Were held May 18, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in
Monroe with the Bev. Brian Lipscomb officiating.

Burial followed in Greer Cemetery near Rayville
Under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mr. Knight passed away May 16 at Richardson Medical Center
in Rayville.

He was a member of Zebedee Baptist Church near Rayville,
A U.S. Army veteran and past president of the Veterans of
Foreign War Post in Monroe. He was also a member of
Carpenter’s Local #1811 in Monore.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Virgie 
M. Paulette Knight, a brother, Clyde Robert Knight and a
sister, Hazel Lively.

Survivors include seven children, Ann Vivian Propson of
Green Bay, Wisconsin, Millard Wayne Knight of Green Bay,
Wisconsin, Linda Carol Salter of Monroe, Patsy Lynn Gray
of Archibald, Betty Joe Gray of Archibald, Barbara Elaine 
Mayeur of Cutoff, Mark Lee Knight of Monroe, 15 grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mark Lee Knight, Jarrod Gray, Justin Mayeur,
Chad Gray, Kevin Cardin, Logan Knight and Shelby Knight.

Honorary pallbearers were Eric and Jason Knight and Troy Newsom.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana
Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe.
