Allen Eppinette & Rev. Todd Perry officating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery near Rayville under the directions of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Michael was a lifelong resident of Richland Parish, he was employed by Moody International where he worked as a painter, metal worker, and a welder.He loved to hunt and fish. Michael was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger H. Johnson. Survivors include his wife; Angelia Johnson of Rayville, two daughters; Ashley Johnson of Rayville, and Lauren Blackwell of Meadville, Miss., mother; Mrs. Jimmie Johnson of Columbia, La., two brothers; Dale Johnson of Rayville, and Adam Johnson of Pine Bluff, Ark., two sisters; Eva Oliveaux of Columbia and Pamela Dear of Rayville, host of nieces & nephews, and a dear friend, Jimmie Turbeville . Pallbearers will be Phillip Sullivan, Colby Sullivan, Dustin Stanfield, Dustin Oliveaux, Shane Johnson, and Shawn Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmie Turbeville, Keith Carter, Tom Heath, Maurice Gix, Chris Turbeville, Mack Brown, Dale Carter and Wesley Knight.
