All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Mattie Lynette Donahoe Funeral services for Mattie Lynette Johnson Donahoe, 73, of Delhi, LA., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2001 at the Warden Baptist Church with the Revs. C.S. Casio and Everett Geis officiating. Burial followed in the Newton Cemetery, under the direction of Cox Funeral Homes of Delhi. Mrs. Donahoe died August 20, 2001 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She was born February 1. 1928 in Waverly to Joseph Thomas Copes and Jewel Merle Travis Copes, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Donahoe, and a brother, Tolbert Copes. Survivors include her son, Eullis H. Johnson Jr., of Rocky Branch, LA.; her daughters, Elizabeth Tate of Vicksburg, MS., Virginia Dale Johnson of Delhi, LA. and Gloria Jean Kappler of Vicksburg, MS.; her brothers, Otis Copes, Thomas E. Copes and Greenlee Copes, all of Delhi, LA.; eight grandchildren and seven great grand- children. Serving as pallbearers were John W. Kappler, Frank W. Kappler Jr., Chuck Kappler, Jr., Trey Johnson, Kerrigan McCready and Stephen Tate.
