Marvin Wayne White

Funeral services for Marvin Wayne White, 75, of Start,
La., were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 26,2001
at Brown- Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville.

Mr. White died Tuesday, October 23, 2001, at his
residence in Start following a lengthy illness.He
was a member of V.F.W. American Legion and Monroe
Moose Lodge. Mr. White was Santa Claus for many
non-profit Christmas functions and founder of
Recycling for Kids.

Survivors include his wife, Billie White of Start,
LA.; his daughter and son-in-law, Lorena and Ralph
W. Cheek of Rayville, LA.; his son and daughter-
in-law John “T” and LaJaean White of Start, La.,
his daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and George Counts of Start, 
LA.; three grandchildren-Whitney Cheek, Tyler White and
Matt Lane; his brother and wife, Carl D.and Barbara White of
Crestview, FL; sisters and husbands, Doris and Bill Rogers of
Little Elm, TX.,Bobbie and James Irwin of TX.,  and Sue and 
Tony Goss of OK; his special friend, Charlie Ryan; and a host 
of nieces, nephews and friends.
