MR. RICHARD "HAPPY" NEATHERY

Services for Mr. Richard "Happy" Neathery, age 74, Monroe, LA. will be 2:00 PM 
Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at Swartz Church of Christ, Richard Byrd and Jurd 
Brantley officiating.  Interment will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery 
near Rayville, LA. under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe, LA. 

Mr. Neathery died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.

Mr. Neathery was a member of Swartz Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife: Frances Neathery, Monroe; daughter: Vickie Austin 
and husband, Buck; five sons: Glenn D. and wife Betty Jean Neathery; Earl W. 
and wife Mary Ann Neathery; John C. Neathery; Thomas C. and wife Margie 
Neathery; Charles R. and wife Carla Neathery; Grandson whom he raised: Jet 
Turlington and wife Daphne;seventeen Loved grandchildren and twenty Great 
Grandchildren; three sisters: Sarah Hamm, Frances Young, Mary Bates; special 
sister-in-law: Gennie Neathery; four brothers: Carl, Leo, James and Bud; half 
sisters: Thelma, Eula, and Sandra.

Pallbearers are David Neathery, Tim Neathery, David Williams, Joe Hamm, Loyd 
Hamm, Joe Chambless, Daniel Parker, Tracy Cain.

Honorary pallbearers are men of Swartz Church of Christ.

****Note:  Richard Clarence Neathery, the son of Clarence Washington Neathery 
and Cordia Ellafair Stephenson Neathery, was born near Rayville, LA on 
February 16, 1929.
