James Rueben Nash, Sr. 64, of 917 Nason St., Lakeview, died Monday in a local hospital. Mr. Nash had been a resident of Lakeview for the past 30 years and was a retired electrical contractor. He was a member of East Ridge Church of God where he taught the Men's Bible Class and served on the offical board of the church. He is survived by wife, Mrs. Edna Tucker Nash; two daughters, Mrs. Aileen Schubert, Rossville, and Mrs. Gloria Harbin, Huntsville, Ala.; two sons, James Rueben Nash, Jr., Chattanooga, Tenn., and Donald Wayne Nash of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Warf, Baton Rouge, La., and Miss Amanda Fuller, Lakeview; two brothers, Bob Fuller, Kelleyville, Calif., and Neal Fuller, Monroe, La.; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at East Ridge Church of God with Rev. R.L. Blazier officiating. Active pallbearers will be Donald Lance, Charles Hain, William Philpot, Jimmy Tucker, Richard Tucker, Denny Nash. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men's Bible Class of East Ridge Church of God, Interment in Lakewood Memory Garden. The body is at Lane Funeral Home Inc.
