"Bill" Cheek Mr. Nolan E."Bill" Cheek, 89 of Rayville, LA will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 12, 2005 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Keys and Dr. Ernest Winburn. Officiating under the direction of Mulhearn funeral home Rayville, LA. Mr. Cheek a member of First Baptist Church Rayville, was a retired exterminator and farmer passed away September 10, 2005 at Richardson Medical Center. He was preceded in death by seven sisters, Laura Roberts, Alma Lord, twin sister Norma Brunson, Lela Twiner, Bessie Lord, Lannie Thorne and Sarah Volentine, grandson, Kevin Cheek. He is survived by six daughters Sandra Guest and her husband Ike of Irving, TX, Cheryl Cordova and her husband David of Garland, TX, Debra Cheek of Fort Worth, TX, Connie Burney and her husband Robert of Jackson, MS, Tammy Johnson and her husband Noel of Oak Ridge, LA, Denise Thompson and her husband Terry of Holly Ridge, LA; three sons Billy Cheek and his wife Linda of Greenwell Springs, LA, Ralph Cheek and his wife Janet of Holly Ridge, LA and Gary Cheek and his wife Gail also of Holly Ridge, LA; seventeen grandchildren: Matthew Guest, Kelly Todd, Tracy Nickolosi, Candace Battagalia, Billy G. Cheek, Jr., Scott Cheek, Mike Miranda, Freddie McVay, Jr., Haley Johnson, Kacey Eppinette, Terrah Marsh, Justin Thompson, Tanna Tyree, Mitzi Cheek, Brandy Burney, Andi Young, Robert "Bubba" Burney and eighteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews along with a special companion Bessie Elkins of Rayville, LA. Pallbearers will be Justin Thompson, Robert Burney, Jr., Ben Reddick, Charles Lord, Jimmy Lord and Wayne Lord. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 9:00 PM Sunday September 11, 2005 at the funeral home.
