David Herrington and Dr. Alan Miller officiating. Interment followed at Stevenson Cemetery in Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville, LA. Mrs. Zula Mae "Nickie" Yelverton was born on September 9, 1916 in Morton, MS and passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church in Rayville, LA. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Atlas Durwood Bagbey and Preston J. Yelverton. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Johnston and husband, Charles, Jr. of Rayville, LA; step-son, Jake Yelverton and wife, Emilia of Rayville, LA; two grandchildren, Lindsey Allen and husband, Tim of Rayville, LA; and Jude Atlas Johnston of Rayville, LA; one great grandson, Ty Allen of Rayville, LA; two step-grandsons, Mark Yelverton and Todd Yelverton; one sister, Myrtis Payne of Rayville, LA; and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers were Ken Raborn, Tom Raborn, Jonathon Raborn, Larry Joe Nichols, Henry Rice, and Andy Johnston.
