Charles Wesley officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Cherry Cemetery near Mangham under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Ollie was born the daughter of Samuel Alfred and Effie Eula Jordan Crawford. She grew up on the family farm on Big Creek below Mangham. She was one of five children: three sisters; Zula (Williams), Maudie (Ellis) and Ovie (Hanna) and one brother, Troy Crawford. Ollie's parents both died in a flu epidemic in 1932 when she was 15 years old. Zula and her husband moved into the family home and cared for the three younger girls along with their own children until they were all married. She loved to share fond memories of the good times and childhood antics while attending "Lick Skillet" and Mangham schools. Ollie married Lee Sharbono December 8, 1934. They had two children: daughter, Marlene and son Sammy. Ollie and Lee had 62 happy years until Lee's death in 1997. Sadly, Marlene also passed away in May 2002. "Miss Ollie" spent her life being the consummate helpmate and the homemaker. She would always be found in "her" kitchen cooking her famous Tea Cakes or muffins. She took turns with other mothers feeding the "River Boys" and putting up all the vegetables the Lee raised in "his" garden. All who knew her will fondly remember her happy, laughing, talking personality. She stood beside her beloved Lee serving The Lord for many years, first at Boeuf River Baptist and later at Woodlawn Baptist Church. She was also for many years a member of the Mangham and Rayville Chapters—Order of the Eastern Star. Also serving in the position of Worthy Matron. As Miss Ollie has now joined loved ones in Heaven, she leaves behind her son, Sam Sharbono and his wife Sarah of Rayville. Six grandchildren: Grandsons—Jason Sharbono and his wife Shandalyn and Justin Sharbono, all of Rayville. Granddaughters — Marilyn Elliott and husband John of Crossett, AR; Vicki Coulter and husband Keith of McAllister, OK; Lela Broussard and husband Mike of Houston, TX; Amy Dixon and husband Todd of Monroe, LA. Nine Great-Grandchildren — Leslie Elliott Ward and husband Jacob; Lee Elliott, Nathan and Jacob Coulter, Henry Broussard, Leslie Ann and Zachary Sharbono, and Alicia and Trent Dixon. One beloved sister, Maudie Ellis of Berryville, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be William Earl Sharbono, Charles Johnston, Joe Comeaux, Ronnie Adcock, Tim Morris and Rod Walton. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM till Noon and Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville and from 1:00 PM till time of service at Woodlawn Baptist Church.
