Freeland Services for Mrs. Ouida Mae Freeland,98, of Rayville, were held Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Rayville with the Rev. Charles Wesley and the Rev. Randy Pierce officiating. Burial followed in Stevenson Cemetery near Rayville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Mrs. Freeland was a member of the Church of God and was preceeded in death by her parents Anderson and Maude Josey; her husband, Jack Freeland; a daughter,"Teen" Freeland; a son-in-law Doug Hardy; a grandson, Ronnie Morris,one great-grandchild, one grea-great grandchild and seven sisters. She is survived by five daughters, Maudie Pierce and husband, T.C., of Rayville, Maggie Morris and her husband, Joe, of Rayville, Ruby Shaver and her husband, Bill of Zachary,Ruth Hardy of Rayville, and Jackie Rostvet and her husband, Bert, of Ayer, Nebraska; two sisters, Evelyn Landers of California, and Hazel Ramsey of Iowa; one brother, Doyle Josey of Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers, they are Therell Pierce, Eddie Pierce, Larry Morris, Marty Richardson, Mike Hardy and John Rostvet.Her sons-in-law well serve as honorary pallbearers.
