Headline: Perry McBroom 

Funeral services for Perry F. McBroom, 83, will be held in the 
West New Home Baptist Church at 3 p.m. today with the Rev. Scott 
Ward officiating. 

Burial will follow in McKnight Cemetery under direction of 
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe. 

Mr. McBroom died Wednesday morning at his home on Route 2, 
Box 246, Rayville, after a short illness. 

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Maude McBroom, four sons, 
Edward McBroom, Vernon McBroom and Ray McBroom, all of Rayville, 
and Francis McBroom of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian 
Sherman of Rayville, a sister, Mrs. Ethel Claunch of Clarks, 16 
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
