Obituary May 14, 1999 appearing in the Silsbee Tx Newspaper
Robert David Johnson was from Richland Parish LA

Robert David Johnson, 82, of Buna died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Silsbee
Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M.  Saturday, May 15, at Central Baptist
Church in Buna with Rev. Delbert Milstead officiating.  Burial was at
Antioch Cemetery in Buna and under the direction of E. E. Stringer Funeral
Home in Buna.  Pallbearers were his grandsons David Johnson, Michael
Elliott, Charles Johnson, Robert Lively, Tracy Johnson, and Christopher
Dollinger.
Born July 28, 1916 in Rayville, Louisiana to Robert Steven Johnson and Ella
(Middleton) Johnson, he was a former longtime resident of Nederland and had
lived in Buna 16 years.  He was a retired machine operator with Operating
Engineers Local No. 450 in Nederland and was a member of Pecan Grove Masonic
Lodge No. LA-0222 in Sondheimer, East Carroll Parish,  LA.
He is survived by two sons, Lester D. Johnson of Transylvania, LA. And L. C.
Johnson of Fort Worth; three daughters, Enda Elliott of Nederland, Betty
Lively of Houston, and Berdia Ann Dollinger of Houston; 12 grandchildren and
10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Berdia (Battenfield) Johnson on July 8,
