Grigsby Funeral services for Robert Ervin Grigsby, 88, of Rayville, were held July 15 at Rayville Church of Christ with Bro. Waymon Swain officiating. Internment followed at Bethel Cemetery in Holly Ridge under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home. Mr. Grigsby passed away July 14 at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville. He was a member of Rayville Church of Christ, a veteran of World War II and a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Garner Grigsby, and a son, Robert Ellyn Grigsby. Survivors include two daughters, Eva Steele of West Monroe and Carol Wilson of Hooks, Texas; two sons Edwin Grigsby of West Monroe and Carlton Grigsby of West Monroe; a sister Della Hill of Tallulah; two brothers, O'Neal Grigsby of Rayville and Willis Grigsby of Baytown, Texas; 17 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren and five great-great granchildren. Pallbearers were his grandchildren, Ronnie Steele, Mike Steele, George Ogles, Donnie Sullivan Sr., Donnie Sullivan Jr., and Chris Steele.
