Ricky "Rick" D. Higdon

Mr. Ricky "Rick" D. Higdon, 48, of Delhi died January 5, 2005 
at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana from injuries 
sustained in an automobile accident of the same day. 
Rick was born March 13, 1956 in Monroe, Louisiana, the son of Tracy 
and Ruby Jean White Higdon. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Jean Higdon of Monroe. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen "Sissy" Higdon and daughter 
Sydney Danielle Higdon of Monroe; his parents: Tracy and Ethel Higdon 
of Delhi, Louisiana; a brother, Donald Higdon and wife Jackie, of Monroe; 
a nephew, Justin Higdon of Monroe and his grandmother, Clemmie Chauncy 
of Delhi. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Cox Funeral 
Home in Delhi. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 8, 2005 in the 
Chapel of Cox Fu neral Home in Delhi. Interment will follow in the Lamar 
Cemetery south of Delhi. Rev. Bobby White and Rev. Greg Clark will officiate. 

Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Chapman, Charles Pepper, Allen Ogden, Sam 
Washington, Corbet McMillian and Ricky McMullen.
