 Richard Allen Silk

Funeral services for Mr. Richard Allen Silk, 64, of Rayville, LA were held 
at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 12, 2007 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. 
Harold Spillers and Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Interment followed in Shanks 
Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, 
Rayville, LA. 

Mr. Silk was born on March 30, 1942 in Rayville, LA. and passed away on Friday, 
March 9, 2007, in Monroe, LA. 

Mr. Silk was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Rayville. Mr. Richard
 Silk was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Helen Silk; and his 
brother, Larry Edward Silk. 

Survivors include his Four Sisters, Catherine Stokes and husband, Gaynell of 
Chatham, LA.; Sandra Bono and husband, Walter of Covington, LA.; Anita Adams 
and husband, Louis of Ellijay, GA.; Sherry Silk of Rayville, LA.; One Brother, 
Ricky Silk and wife, Margaret of Rayville, LA.; Numerous nieces, nephews, great 
nieces, and great nephews. 

Pallbearers were Pete Mayhall, Tommy Mayhall, Jody Ceslok, Thomas Silk, 
Houston Boone, and Carlos Mann.
