All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Ruby Kee Thompson Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Kee Thompson, 75, of Delhi will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, March 13, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Delhi. Dr. Marcus Murphy will officiate. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi. Mrs. Thompson was born on August 29, 1929 in Bay, Arkansas and passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, R. C. Kee and Lillian Opal Elkins Kee of Rayville. She worked for many years in banking in Rayville and Delhi and was a member of the Garden Club and Pilot Club as well as a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Fuller Thompson of Delhi; three sisters, Clarice Kee Gibson of Rayville, LA, Lonnie Kee Tucker and her husband, Jack of Winnsboro, LA, and Anne Kee Morris and her husband, Orie Gene of Rayville, LA; one daughter, Sandra Thompson Interiano and her husband Miguel of West Monroe, LA; one son, Bob Thompson and his wife Debbie Copes Thompson of Sulphur, LA; four grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson Molitor and her husband, Allen of Westlake, LA, Laura Shaw of Dallas, TX, Jared Thompson of Sulphur, LA and Lane Shaw of Los Angeles, CA; two great-grandchildren, Harlie Kay Molitor and Cole Wiley Molitor of Westlake, LA, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Todd Morris, Chris Morris, Larry Tucker, Raymond Stroud and Bud LaPrairie. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Echols and Tendle Jones.
