Norman Rites Held Monday Mrs. C. Q. Norman, 61, a resident of Rayville, formerly of Franklin Parish, died in her home Monday morning following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Liddieville Baptist church with the Revs. R. L. Harris and T. J. rector officiating. Interment was in the Ogden Cemetery. Mrs. Norman is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Theresa Simon, Mrs. Daisy Underwood and Miss Juanita Norman, all of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Geneve Malone, Baton Rouge; five sons, R. J. Powell, Monroe; E. H., R. L., and C. L. Norman, Rayville, and Gene Nathan Norman, U. S. Air Force; three brothers, two sisters, and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. C. Johnson, Johnson McMurry, W. A. Hatt, Virgie Lloyd, Ira Parks and Elvin Adams. The First National Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
