Noble, 86, will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Mulhearn Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John D. Corley officiating. Burial will be in Lone Cherry Cemetery near Mangham. Mrs. Noble died Friday in Monroe after a long illness. She had been a Winnsboro resident since 1946 and member of First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Mercer of Baskin, Mrs. Clara Mae Bowden of Oak Grove, Mrs. Lucille Acklen of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Jean Warren of Kenner and Mrs. Bessie Westerburg of Melbourne, Fla.; three sons, Wilburn Noble of Baton Rouge, Woody Noble and George Noble, both of Winnsboro; 26 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. **Submitter's notes: Rose Elizabeth Roberson Noble was born in Rankin County, MS, 08 March 1895, the daughter of Billy Roberson and Mollie Byrd Roberson. She married George Wesley Noble 08 February 1912 in Rankin County, MS. They moved to Mangham, Richland Parish, LA between 1914 and 1917, then to Franklin Parish in 1946.
