All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Mrs. Ruby McKnight Clack Funeral services for Ruby Clack, age 98 of Richland Parish were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday ,March 9,2005 atWest New Home Baptist Church north of Holly Ridge, LA with Rev. Everett Guise and Rev. Troy Dennard officiating. Interment will follow at Stevenson Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Homes of Rayville. Mrs. Clack was born August 2, 1906 in Clinton and passed away on Monday March 7, 2005 in Rayville. Mrs.Clack and her husband O.T. Clack were owners of Clack's Grocery; north of Holly Ridge and operated the store beginning in the early 1950's until the 1990's. She was a member of West New Home Baptist Church. She served for many years as a Sunday School Teacher of the Adult Women's Class, during one period of seven years she never missed a class. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.T.Clack; her parents, Mr.& Mrs. W.A .McKnight; brothers, Dewey, Norman & Walter McKnight; sister, Lottie Stokes; grandchildren, Mike and Susan Clack; and son-in-law Jyles Hardy. Mrs. Clack is survived by a daughter, Martiel Hardy of Rayville; sons, Clayden Clack & wife Myrtis of Rayville and Lamar Clack and wife Hilda of tallulah; three sisters, Doris Becker of Marion City, Iowa, Katherine McKnight of Rayville and Sarah Lou Turner of Seagraves, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren. Pallbearers were, Randy Hardy, Ralph Clack, Phil Clack, Bruce Clack, Don Clack, Jason Duck, Spence Clack, Ryan Clack and Dustin Silk. Honorary pallbearers were Great Grandsons.
