S immie Free

Funeral services for Simmie "Sonne Free, age 68, of Archibald, LA. were 
held at 11AM on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at Brown Holley Funeral Home Chapel  
Rayville, LA. with Bro. Carl Huff officiating. Burial was in the Baskin Cemetery, 
Baskin, LA. under the direction of Brown Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA. 

Mr. Free was born September 10, 1937 and passed away August 28, 2006 at Glenwood 
Regional Medical Center. 

Mr. Free was a member of the Church of Christ and an Air Force Veteran. 

He is survived by his wife, Pat Free of Archibald, LA.; two children, Vickie 
Newman and husband Robert of Sicily Island, LA., and Johny Free of Archibald, 
LA.; two Grandchildren, Corey Austin of New Orleans, LA. and Janna Austin of 
Clayton, LA.; one great grandson, A.J. Brewer of Clayton, LA.; two sisters, 
Muriel McManus of Holly Ridge, LA. and Moese Price of Monroe, LA.; brother, 
Robert Earl Free and wife Dale of Archibald, LA.; and numerous nieces and 
nephews. 

Pallbearers were Jesse Shiers, Sr., Tommy Lynn, Johnny Burson, Sammy Lee, 
Bobby Cheek, Tony Jackson, Buddy Rhodes, and Mike Parker
