Shandon C. Powell

Funeral services for Mr. Shandon Clay Powell, PFC, 21, of Start
wre held Tuesday, April, 20, 2004 at the Rayville First Baptist
Church with the Rev. Tim Fulmer and Dr. Ernest Winburn officiating.

Burial followed in Start Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley
Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mr. Powell was born on May 13, 1982 and passed away on Saturday,
April 17, 2004.

Mr. Powell is a Private First Class with the U.S. Army. He was preceded 
in death by his brother Shondell Shay Powell.

Survivors include his parents, Sheldon and Sherlyn Powell of Start; sister,
Shalanda Powell Stanley and her husband, Erik of Monroe and their 
daughter, Eliza  Christine Stanley; a brother, Shadly Powell of Start;
grandparents, Pearlie and Christine Ezell of Pioneer; and a host of 
aunts, and uncles and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers was the Military Honor Guard.
