All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Theo Jones Funeral services for Theo "Coach" Jones, 87 of Mangham, were held February 15, 2002, at Mangham Baptist Church, with Revs. Rick Aultman, Paul Brooks and Jimmy Eppinette officiating. Burial followed in Gwin Cemetery, in Mangham, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Coach Jones died February 13, 2002, in Monroe. He was a member of Mangham Baptist Church, having served as Sunday School teacher and deacon. He was a retired teacher, coach and principal of Mangham schools. He was a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Harris Jones; grandson, Bradley Clay Jones; and sister Thelma Nash. Jones is survived by a daughter, Phyllis White and husband, Billy Joe; a son,Harris "Buddy" Jones and wife Judy; grandchildren Toby Joe White, of Ruston, Maudie Morris, of Ridgeland, MS, and Scott Jones of Mangham; five grea-granchildren; sister, Beulah Herrick and husband Jack of Clanton, AL.; brother W.A."Dub" Jones of Liddiville, and brother-in-law, Otto Nash of Monroe. Serving a pallbearers were Fred Douciere, Jr., Tommy Lowery, Leo Cheek, Jerry Herrick, Toby Joe White and Scott Jones. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Mangham Baptist Church.
