Troy Lowry


Services for Mr. Troy Lowry, age 83, of Archibald, LA, will be 
10:00 AM Monday, September 6, 2004 at Archibald First Baptist 
Church Archibald, LA, with Rev. R. Dwayne Achord and Rev. Jimmy 
Goodman officiating. Interment will be in Lynn Cemetery Archibald, 
LA, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home Rayville, LA.
Mr. Troy Lowry was born on August 5, 1921 and passed away on 
Thursday, September 2, 2004.

Mr. Troy was a member of the Archibald First Baptist Church. He was 
also a member of the Western Star Lodge #24 in Monroe, LA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lee Gray Lowry; parents, 
Alma and Stancil Lowry; and brothers, Colon Lowry and Taylor Lowry.

Survivors will be his son, Walter Lowry and wife, Teri of Galveston, 
TX; grandchildren: Chris Lowry and wife, Michelle, of Magnolia, TX, 
Bryan Lowry of the U.S.M.C. Camp Pendelton, CA, Jennifer Lowry of 
Galveston, TX; great-grandchildren: Ashley Jeter of Magnolia, TX, 
Autumn Lowry and Anthony Lowry of Magnolia, TX; sisters: Lela Mae 
Conley of West Monroe, LA, Mildred Bradshaw of Archibald, LA, 
Beatrice Sapp of Rayville, LA, Ruby Hillis of Start, LA; brothers: 
Estes Lowry of Monroe, LA, R.C. Lowry of Rayville, LA; host of 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Gibson, Billy McCullough, Tom Hendrix, Sr., 
Tom Hendrix, Jr., Randy Joiner, and Ronnie Dilmore.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM today at the funeral home.
