Butch Goodman and Rev. Troy Dennard officiating. Interment followed in Epps Cemetery, Epps, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA. Mrs. Tincy was born in Turkey Creek, Louisiana February 14, 1915 and went home to be with her Lord, July 11, 2007. She moved with her family to the Rayville area when she was a young girl. She was a charter member of West New Home Baptist where she served for 40+ years as pianist. She also served many years as church clerk and Adult Ladies Sunday School teacher. She was a prolific songwriter writing over 200 songs about the Lord she loved. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Andrew Jackson Walker and Margaret Walker; Husband, Horace E. Pickett, Sr.; Son, Les Pickett; and Granddaughter, Amy Seffens. Survived by Four Daughters, Frances Reeves and husband, Carroll of Branch, LA, Sharon Baum and husband, Dennis, Shelly Clack and husband, Bendel, Phyllis Thompson and husband, Andy all of Rayville; Two Sons, Horace E. Pickett, Jr. and wife, Jeanette of Cecilia, LA and Houston Pickett and wife, Judy of Lexington, MS; Two Brothers, Grady Walker and wife, Juanita of West Monroe a nd Ivan Walker and wife, Mary of Columbus, MS; 21-Grandchildren; 3-Step Grandchildren; 33-Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Special caregivers, Marty Williams and Charlotte Gwin. Pallbearers were Charlie Morgan, Claydeen Clack, Vic Cheek, Mitch Stokes, Richard Freeland, Tom Cullum, Tim Branch, and Aaron Branch.
