All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Mrs. Undine Beam   Services for Mrs. Undine Beam, 84, of Rayville, LA, will be 10:00 AM Thursday Oct. 28, 2004 at the Rayville United Methodist Church with internment to follow in Rayville Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Robert E. Townsend officiating. Under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home- Rayville, LA. Mrs. Beam was an active member of Rayville United Methodist Church for 72 years. She graduated from LA Tech University and began a devoted teaching career for 25 years. A member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Society Magna Charta Dames. Her favorite pass time was spent reading and gardening. Undine was born in Rayville, LA, on Oct. 5,1920 the daughter of the late William Pendleton Gaines and Bettie Peck Norris Gaines. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Nelce Beam and a brother William "Bubba" Norris Gaines. She is survived by one son James William Beam and his wife Eleanor Parker Beam of Baton Rouge, LA, daughter Bettye Beam Clement and her husband Wiley Clement of Rayville, LA, five grandchildren; James Sherman Beam of Jackson, MS, Laura Bankston and her husband Carson Bankston of Baton Rouge, LA. Paul Clark and his wife Kaye Clark of Rayville, LA, Linda Russell and her husband Greg of Farmerville, LA, Amanda McMahan and her husband Morgan McMahan of Fort Necessity, LA; six great grandchildren; Bridgit, Chelsea and Sawyer Mayhall, Lacie Russell, Kaleb and Cody Clark. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Pallbearers will be James Beam, Paul Clark, Sawyer Mayhall, Edward Shoemaker, David Hendershot and Emmett L. Brown III.
